San Francisco Architecture  and Page St.
It is now into the new year, and only 5 months til I leave SF. I wanted to do a series of posts on what I love and will miss most about San Francisco.
The first flat I moved into in the city was in the seaty and touristy Upper Haight.  It seemed like the perfect place to move to first.  Everything you would ever need was around the corner, and many people watching opportunities. What I love most is the distinct architecture especially in this neighborhood. No other city in the US has this many Victorian buildings all neighboring each other.  When the novelty of Haight street wore off, I chose to walk on Page street, which is a block parallel to Haight. It is quiet and the houses are beautiful.  I’ll miss my detours on this street and all of SF for that matter.
